Community Gathers for The Gobbler as Duck River Raceway Park Honors the Todd Family

Duck River Raceway Park is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the year — The Gobbler, returning Saturday, November 29th. Drivers and fans from across the region will pack the stands for an action-filled day featuring our Super Late Models racing for $7,500 to win, plus a full night of fierce competition across multiple divisions.

But beyond the racing excitement, this year’s Gobbler carries a deeper meaning for our track family.

Our racing community was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jason Todd. Jason was a familiar face to many, and his loss is felt throughout the pits, the grandstands, and across the broader racing world. As we come together for one of the biggest nights of the season, we also come together as a family — united in support, compassion, and remembrance.

Donation Collection at the Drivers Meeting

To honor the Todd family during this difficult time, a donation bucket will be available at the Drivers Meeting on race day. All contributions will go directly to his family as we rally around them with love and support.

We encourage everyone — drivers, crews, and fans alike — to give from the heart if they’re able. Even small gestures make a tremendous difference in moments like these.

A Night of Racing, Community, and Heart

The Gobbler has always been a celebration of hard racing, hometown pride, and the unmatched spirit of Duck River Raceway Park. This year, it also serves as a reminder of the strong bonds that make our racing family special.

As the thunder of engines fills the air and the lights shine bright over the high banks, we’ll carry Jason’s family in our thoughts and keep them close in our hearts.

We hope to see everyone at the track as we race, remember, and stand together.
